Test 5 - Technique III Ultimate

 

New Model of Portable Prototype of IHLM

 
  • Priming - duration 30 secs by opening clamps of Perfusate Tank (PT) and of the
    Patient's Venous Blood Reservoir (PVBR - initially containing 500ml perfusate) concurrently to the FA
    and FV Canulation procedure by CH Surgeon.
  • FV Cannula is inserted into VL.
  • Clamps replaced on PT & PVBR outlets.
  • Diaphragm Pump is switched on.
  • After all air is evacuated from the Arterial Line, Arterial Cannula is connected to AL.
  • HALS to be fitted with a small electric vibrator which is made to function during the Priming Phase.

3 drops of blood taken from each sample and placed on the glass of the clock.

  • Note 1 : The readings of the ISTAT Machine for sample 2 do not corroborate with the visual results shown on the glass panel of the clock .
  • Note 2 : The oxygenation process in this test has been quite slow ; however the rapidity of the oygenation process can be enhanced by increasing the percentage of H2O2 in the HALS so that within 5 mins the oxygenation of the blood of the patient should be excellent .
 

A manual timer (later on - a digital timer) is placed in the Main AC power source and can be regulated to give a
chosen Circulation Phase and also a Total Circulatory Arrest Phase.

    The reason that I obtained much better results than other medical practitioners is that I have taken into consideration 2 most important aspects of the pathophysiologies of these diseases.
