In 1985-1988 at the King FAHD Hospital in Jeddah, I discovered the indepth secrets of 60 million patients dying prematurely yearly worldwide and I wrote the Blue Thesis on "Controlled Hibernation" to save at least 50 million of these patients.

After 24 years research work I obtained the prestigious St Jerome Prize - Budapest in May 2004 and the Bronze Prize - Kuala Lumpur in May 2005 for H2O2 Artificial Lung System("HALS").

I presented the Ideal Heart Lung Machine at the International Science Congress in Kuala Lumpur in August 2005. The machine was initially designed to save at least 50 million lives yearly. However it can also be used as an ultimately most efficient, cheap and simple alternative to set up Open Heart Surgery Programs in developing countries.

Tests Performed

  • January 2013 : Test 1 (Technique I) using coloured water (Blue,Green,Red) - very satisfactory.
  • February 2013 : Test 2 (Technique I) - Blood Oxygenation is good. However important foaming has taken place.
  • March 2013 : Test 3 (Technique II) - The breakdown of H2O2 into H2O and O2 has been made slower than in Test 2. This method to be used for elective Controlled Hibernation for needy patients. No foaming has occured.
  • May 2013 : Test 4 (Technique I) - Portable Prototype of IHLM for Life Rescue Operations outdoors.
  • September 2013 : Test 5 (Technique III) - New model of Portable Prototype of IHLM for Life Rescue Operations outdoors. 12 Volts Attwood Diaphragm Pump to work on 6 Volts DC Source from one 6-volts battery (Autonomy 3-5 hours) for Emergency Life Rescue Operation Outdoors.
    Three 12 Volts Solenoid valves to ensure the safest (no air bubble into the patient's blood circuit) CH Procedure.
    The IHLM is thus in reality Extracorporeal H2O2 Oxygenation (ECHO) and is definitely the ultimate alternative to ECMO - hopefully quite soon.
  • October 2013 : Test 5A (Technique III) - ECHO has reached the "Everest - EO2 "in Blood Oxygenation.
  • May 2014 : Test 5B (Technique IV - Simulation of CAP Technique ).
  • June 2014 : Test 5C (Simulation of CAP Technique ).
  • November 2014 : Test 5D (Simulation of CAP Technique ).
